Quince Products Ltd is a Watlington based company specialising in handmade quince jellies, marmalades, chutney and fruit cheeses. We are passionate about all things quince - that wonderful golden fruit brought to England by the Romans, which has symbolised love and happiness since Greek times - indeed many believe it to be an aphrodisiac!
The company was started 5 years ago by Colin and Elspeth Wainwright after Elspeth, a food researcher by trade, decided she wanted to bring quince back into the British food chain. Having won Waitrose small producer of the year award 2005, Henley New Business Award in 2005, and Gold Taste Awards in 2005,2006, 2007, the business has gone from strength to strength, delighting food writers, chefs and housewives everywhere.
Our products are produced in small batches in the traditional way, using no added preservatives, to ensure the purity, and are sometimes combined with other fruits creating a delicious balance of flavours and taste. We recommend using our quince products with cheese, on toast, in daily cooking - in fact, just about anywhere!
